The design concept for the glass artworks created within the reception area of the new Women and Children’s Unit at Blackpool Victoria Hospital is based on a water theme. The abstract and impressionistic artworks create a sense of calm and serenity in the public spaces whilst the colours and treatments adopted inform the interior decor throughout the department.  Behind each panel full colour LED acrylic sheets’ are pre-programmed to provide a continually changing backdrop throughout the day.
